GB Stamp Auctions offers many of the features found on online auction sites such as ebay (plus a number of features not found on them) it is not however designed to be a rival to ebay and does not strive to have the same audience or clientele. GB Stamp Auctions is particularly aimed at those private sellers who would like to have the opportunity to sell their material directly to other collectors on terms that are suited to them.
Membership is FREE if you just wish to buy.
Nominal monthly fee ("Seller Verification" fee paid online) to enable access to all SELLING feature of site including full invoicing facility and a variety of secure online payment facilities.
If a seller wishes to take a break from selling once current fee expired they need only pay the next "Seller Verification" fee when they wish to recommence selling i.e there is no need to pay for months in which the site is not used.
As a SELLER on GB Stamp Auctions you have:
- a site dedicated soley to GB Philately and related material. -the provision of a full service for invoicing buyers and taking payments either directly and securely online or by more traditional indirect methods. -sellers are offered a wide range of secure direct online payment facilities in addition to or instead of paypal with no obligation to use any particular one or indeed any. -a wide range of categories and sub categories covering the whole range of GB Philately with ability to request addition of extra categories if no suitable category found on site.
-all of the above and much more with NO fees other than monthly "Seller Verification" fee.
NO listing fee
NO sales (final value fee) irrespective of item value
NO relisting fee
NO fee for multiple images per item
NO fee for creating and customising own store on site for up to 500 items
(for extra nominal fee larger capacity "featured" store can be selected)
- an administrator who is a PTS member and aware of the requirements and standards expected by the more discerning collector and seller / dealer. The site will be "policed" to ensure such standards are maintained.
